Zhang Xinquan (1962-) graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at Qufu Normal University in 1983. He has been engaged in the creation of oil paintings and other Western paintings since graduation. During his studies at the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts in 1988, he was exceptionally admitted to its oil painting graduate class. His works have been selected for national and provincial-level art exhibitions multiple times. His major works include "Memories of Yimeng" selected for the 7th National Art Exhibition, "Wind with Salty Flavor" selected for the 2nd National Watercolor and Gouache Painting Exhibition, "Xianxi" selected for the "Hangzhou '89 Chinese Watercolor Painting Exhibition," and "Chuanqin" selected for the "Hangzhou '90 China's First Watercolor Festival Exhibition." Some of his works have been exhibited in the United States, Japan, Hong Kong, and other places.
