Description
The vibrant pigment known as Cerulean Blue was created in 1805 and was later introduced to the English market during the 1860s. The name Cerulean is derived from the Latin word Caeruleum, which means “sky-blue”. This pigment has a bright blue hue with subtle green undertones.
