Phoenix Arts was established as Wuxi Phoenix Artist Materials Co., Ltd. in Jiangsu, China, initially operating from a leased 300-square-meter workshop.

Secured independent import and export rights, enabling Phoenix to manage its international trade operations directly.

Constructed the company’s first large-scale factory, covering 12,000 square meters of factory area on a 20,000-square-meter site.

Successfully defended against the US anti-dumping investigation on artist canvas imported from China, and established a Sino-British joint venture, Phoenix Fine Art Paints Company.

Expanded internationally with the establishment of Phoenix Artist Materials (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., Phoenix’s first overseas production facility, featuring a 12,000-square-meter plant on a 20,000-square-meter site.

Obtained exemption approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce for canvas woven and primed in Vietnam but assembled in China, permitting continued exports from China.
